Your Itenerary
Your itinerary will start in Uganda's Kampala and end in Rwanda's modern Kigali. An airport pick up and drop off may be arranged.
Day 1: Kampala City tour You will begin this tour with a Kampala city tour. Kampala is one of East Africa's liveliest cities bustling with activity with its nearly 4 million day population. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning for a tour of Kampala's most iconic cultural and historical centers. Here you will visit 4 major cultural centers among; the Namirembe and Rubaga cathedrals, the Gadaff mosque, the Uganda museum, the Buganda Kabaka's Palace - Lubiri Mengo and the Namugongo Uganda Martyrs shrine. This will be a brief into Kampala's history of growth from Bugada's kibuga to a vast cosmopolitan city that it is today.

Day 2: Rhino tracking
On Day 2, you will travel to the Zziwa rhino sanctuary to marvel at the endangered Southern white rhinos in their wild natural habitat. Zziwa sanctuary has taken the initiative to protect these magnificent creatures on the verge of extinction. While at Zziwa, you may also enjoy boat rides, nature hikes, night-time nature walks and birding tours to see over 300 bird species. Later in the day after a blissful day with the rhinos, you will take a 3 hour drive through the countryside via Masindi to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have an overnight stay.
Later in the day, your guide will pick you up for a night game drive to have a chance to see nocturnal activities of the wild. You may be able to see leopards, lions and much more.

Day 3: Game viewing in Murchison
Your guide shall pick you from your hotel early in the morning for a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest National Park and is inevitably rich in wildlife, biodiversity and exceptional scenic views that you won't get enough of. Your guide will take you on a game drive where you'll expect a variety of mammals such as lions, elephants, leopards,buffalo and over 400 of bird species.
In the afternoon, you will have lunch and then go for a boat ride on the Mighty Albert Nile to see the world's most powerful falls - the Murchison falls. You will hike to the top of the falls to capture the spectacular view atop the falls while enjoying sounds of splashing water down below and literal rainbows forming just above the white water.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On Day 4, after an early morning filling breakfast, your guide will pick you from your hotel for a 6-hour drive via Fort Portal transfer to Kibale National Park. You will have a stop in Fort Portal tourism city for lunch at one of its aesthetic cafes chosen by your guide. Upon arrival at your lodge and settling in, you may go for a community walk, cultural activities, nature walk and more offered by your lodge/hotel. You will then have a good night's rest at your lodge.

Day 5:
On the trek, besides chimpanzees, you will be able to see several other primate species such as black and White colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons and over 300 bird species including the Papyrus gonolek, White-winged Warbler, African Skimmer and many more.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will go to see the magnificent gentle giants - the Mountain Gorilla. Upon arrival, you will settle in and have lunch at your lodge. After your lunch, the guide will organize a community walk to visit Batwa communities and immerse yourself.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will go to see the magnificent gentle giants - the Mountain Gorilla. Upon arrival, you will settle in and have lunch at your lodge. After your lunch, the guide will organize a community walk to visit Batwa communities and immerse yourself

Day 8: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early in the morning after substantial breakfast to get you ready for gorilla trekking adventure, your guide will transfer you for briefing at the park center before proceeding on an adventure to find the gorillas in the luxuriant forest shade of Bwindi. Depending on the location of the gorillas, the activity can last 1 to 8 hours. After your enchanting walk with gorillas, you will return to your lodge to have lunch after which you'll embark on a journey to Rwanda through the magnificent hills of Kisoro as you take in the euphoric reminiscence of the gorilla tracking adventure.

Day 9: Golden Monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park
After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Volcanoes National Park where you will go for the rare experience of tracking the endangered Golden Monkeys. Just like gorilla tracking, the adventure begins early in the morning and requires modest preparation. Your guide will be sure to pick you up on time for briefing at 7:00 am before you join others to walk in the bamboo vegetation in search of the reward of the day. After finding them, you spend an hour marveling at the creatures in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge to relax for the afternoon.

Day 10: Transfer to Akagera National Park
After an overnight stay at your lodge in Volcanoes National Park, you will have an early breakfast before traveling to Akagera National Park. This is a 5-hour drive under normal circumstances so you will arrive in Akagera just in time for lunch at your lodge. After your lunch, you head for a 2-3 hour boat cruise on L. Ihema to sight the aquatic life expecting hippos, crocodiles and a variety of aquatic birds. After the boat cruise, you will return to your lodge for a good night's rest.

Day 11: Akagera activities
After a hefty breakfast in the early morning, you will go for a morning game drive that typically takes 2-3 hours expecting roan antelopes, rhinos, Uganda Kobs, Maasai giraffes and many more. You will have your lunch after which your guide will take you to visit Imigongo arts and crafts center to immerse yourself in local culinary and a farm visit to participate in local beer-brewing and marvel at the graceful Ankole-Watusi longhorn cattle before heading off back to your lodge for a restful evening.

Day 12: Transfer to Kigali & Departure
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up for a 3 hour transfer to Kigali. An airport drop off will be arranged for you according to your departure flight.
